I first starting coaching sports by helping my mom coach the Reynolds Girls Basketball team in 1969. Girls basketball did not become a school sport until 1973. At that time you had to be on the school staff to coach at Reynolds HS.  RHS Girls 1   Girls 2   Girls 3   Girls 4

While teaching in WV I coached the Whitesville Football Midgets for part of a season and was an assistant coach of the Sylvester Little League team managed by Larry Asbury.

I coached the Whitesville Elementary basketball team for one year.

I also coached the 9th grade team and the 7th & 8th grade team for 5 years. The 9th Grade team was undefeated in 1977.

I was also the assistant boys basketball Junior High coach with head coach Charlie Arvon.         

In 1994 - 1995 I coached the Sharon Christian Academy Girls Varsity for 2 years and the boys Varsity team for one year.
